Compact outside, generous inside
KONA stays a compact SUV where it matters, in traffic and in the parking space, and becomes a much bigger car the moment you get in. The longer body and extended wheelbase translate directly into room for people and luggage.
A boot for the weekly shop
The tailgate opens onto a wide, square load area that easily takes the weekly shop, a pushchair or two large suitcases. Fold the rear seats and it stretches into one long, flat floor for bulkier loads.
Room for adults in the back
Most of the extra wheelbase has gone into rear legroom, so an adult sits comfortably behind another adult. The doors open wide and the floor is almost flat, making getting in easy and fitting a child seat easier still.
Still drives like a city car
All that space comes in a body that's still easy to thread down a narrow street and park in town. Short overhangs, a raised driving position and good visibility make KONA feel smaller from the inside than it looks from the outside.
