Car Subscriptions for Expats

Why MOCEAN makes sense for expats

Spain is welcoming and vibrant, but settling in
often means dealing with unfamiliar paperwork
and administrative processes.

MOCEAN takes care of the vehicle-related
details, making it easier to get on the road
with a Hyundai and start your new life with confidence.

1. We take care of the paperwork.

Spain’s documentation requirements can feel unfamiliar when you are still learning how things work. MOCEAN manages the vehicle registration process with the relevant local authorities, as well as tax, insurance, scheduled maintenance, and ITV arrangements.

We also guide you through the documents needed to verify your identity, residence, and driving eligibility. Everything is handled digitally wherever possible, helping you avoid queues, unnecessary appointments, and administrative delays.

Less paperwork.
More exploration.

2. Approval designed for newcomers.

Arriving in Spain often means starting without a local credit history, which can make traditional leasing difficult. MOCEAN’s approval process is designed for expats and accepts foreign identification, proof of income, residency documentation, and an NIE or proof of application.

Approval is always subject to our standard assessment, but the process is designed to give newcomers a fair opportunity to get on the road without unnecessary barriers.

3. Drive from day one

Most expats can begin driving straight away, as EU and EEA licences are fully valid in Spain and many non-EU licences remain valid for six months after residency is officially granted.

Some countries offer straightforward licence exchanges, while others require a Spanish driving exam for long-term stays. MOCEAN’s verification process explains what is required for your situation. While licence validity is determined by Spanish law, we make the process clear and remind you of important deadlines, so you can drive with confidence once your documents are approved.
